Job Summary
Greet customers, maintain and increase agronomy and feed sales, and manage grain origination and marketing with existing and new customers. Assist in elevator operations, receiving and unloading grain, grain drying, and grain train loading including cleaning and sealing cars. Perform fertilizer and chemical operations, pump bulk chemicals into customer tanks, and tender to applicators while understanding basic agronomy chemistry. Measure grain and chemical inventory weekly or monthly, maintain facility cleanliness and safety records, and repair equipment as needed. Maintain a valid driver's license and DOT physical; Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements preferred. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements
- Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical
- Good computer skills
