Job Summary
Greet customers promptly and courteously while maintaining and increasing agronomy, feed, and grain sales with existing and new clients. Execute elevator operations, grain receiving, unloading, drying, and train loading including cleaning and sealing cars. Measure grain inventory weekly or monthly, test temperatures, and blend grain to maintain condition. Assist with fertilizer and chemical operations, including pumping bulk chemicals into tanks, tendering to applicators, and filling NH3 nurse tanks. Maintain equipment, keep facilities clean and safe, and ensure housekeeping records are current. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and high school diploma. Seasonal time commitment expected.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to move/lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment
Desired Qualifications
- Be able to obtain a Class A CDL with air brake, tanker, and HazMat endorsements
- Participate in company DOT drug and alcohol program and maintain current DOT physical
- Good computer skills
