Job Summary
Prepare media solutions, operate fermentation vessels, and perform cleaning and disinfecting in a clean, aseptic environment. Follow written SOPs and Outlines of Production while complying with cGMP guidelines to ensure accuracy in documentation for intermediate components and downstream processing. Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with potential overtime and weekend coverage after training. This role supports the Worthington facility's expansion to manufacture vaccines for large and companion animals using biologics production and cell culture platforms.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well with others
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Successful completion of a Physical Abilities Test
- First shift availability (Monday - Friday 6:30AM to 3:00PM)
- Some overtime availability
- Some weekend availability after training
- Ability to comprehend and comply with cGMP guidelines
- Ability to complete and review documentation for accuracy and completeness
