Job Summary
As a mechanically-focused Operations Technician, you’ll support maintenance for Williams’ largest horsepower and power distribution installations. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment operates safely, performing mechanical inspections, collaborating to solve operational challenges, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in diverse physical conditions. Preferred experience varies by technician level, focusing on mechanical and oil & gas industry skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and travel between locations
- Ability to work in extreme conditions and elevated areas with PPE
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safety and operational excellence
Desired Qualifications
- Technician I: 6+ months of mechanical or technical experience, or internship with Associate degree
- Technician II: 2+ years of related experience, preferably in oil & gas
- Technician III: 3+ years of technician experience, preferably in oil & gas
- Technician Sr: 6+ years of experience with similar equipment or facilities; Associate degree preferred
