Job Summary
Manage a sampling program patterned to specified accounts by consulting clients on strategies to improve business generation and attending reliability review meetings. Perform oil changes in refineries and conduct visual inspection routes, communicating results and actions taken. Train onsite client personnel on sampling and technical service duties while investigating product contamination, root causes, and corrections. Obtain necessary MLT-1 certification, safety protocols, and site-specific technical certifications to execute these responsibilities. Travel up to 10% via vehicle and airplane in an outdoor environment with potential exposure to mechanical and chemical hazards.
Required Qualifications
- MLT-1 Certification
- Three (3) years of mechanical experience (automotive, industrial machinery, valves, pumps)
- Three (3) years of experience with fuel and lube pumps, nozzles, & fittings
- Ability to obtain a TWIC Card
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess effective written and oral communication skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving techniques and skills
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 10%
- Must be willing and able to travel via vehicle and airplane
- Must be willing and able to occasionally work weekends
- Must be willing and able to occasionally work long hours
- Must be willing and able to occasionally work outside
- Must be willing and able to occasionally work in wetness/humidity
- Must be willing and able to occasionally work in noise and vibration
- Must be willing and able to occasionally work in fumes and odors
- Must be willing and able to occasionally work in dirt and dust
- Must be willing and able to occasionally work in an outdoors environment
- Must be willing and able to occasionally stand
- Must be willing and able to occasionally walk
- Must be willing and able to occasionally sit
- Must be willing and able to occasionally use hands to handle or feel objects
- Must be willing and able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Must be willing and able to occasionally stoop
- Must be willing and able to occasionally kneel
- Must be willing and able to occasionally crouch
- Must be willing and able to occasionally crawl
- Must be willing and able to occasionally talk
- Must be willing and able to occasionally hear
- Must be willing and able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with pumps and strong mechanical and technical abilities a plus
