Job Summary

Perform a variety of tasks to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings, inspecting/supervising equipment, and maintaining operation/technical standards and governmental requirements. Analyze data to resolve technical or operational problems, ensure permits/compliance, and maintain accurate process records and logs. Support gas processing plant operations with expertise in maintenance, instrumentation, and safety, with duties including preventative maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and reporting. Must be willing to work after hours and potentially travel between Williams locations; candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and strong safety mindset, with applicable driver’s license.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • minimum three (3) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar role
  • valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • ability to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays
  • experience in oil and gas industry (preferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree and minimum two (2) years of multifaceted operations technician experience)
  • ability to read and interpret drawings and maintain records
