Job Summary
Perform extremely high-profile technical support engineering for Department of Defense operations, resolving problems independently while executing maintenance, logistics, and test functions on fielded systems. Operate test and diagnostic equipment, handling equipment, and various vehicles to prepare shipping materials and manage inventory. Maintain and repair fleet assets including fabrication, assembly, and component testing. Requires a current Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Interim Secret clearance, and 5+ years of relevant experience. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds, work nights and weekends, and travel 20-30% to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- A current Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Interim Secret clearance is required on day one
- Must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance over the life of the contract
- Ability to lift boxes, packages, and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds using proper equipment and lifting techniques
- Physically fit with full use of arms, legs, and back
- Ability to travel 20-30% to CONUS and OCONUS locations
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
