Job Summary
Safely operate furnace and grinding equipment to meet quality and production goals while performing basic analytical testing to confirm material quality. Interpret analytical data to adjust processes and maintain output standards, then monitor product levels within equipment. Record daily operational data in the computer database and fill out paper logs. Safely operate plant vehicles including forklifts and front-end loaders to support production activities. Perform housekeeping and basic maintenance of the production area, and participate in all health, safety, and environmental activities including monthly plant audits and hazard identification.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Must be able to work any day of the week
- Must be able to be medically cleared to wear a dust filtering respirator when needed for housekeeping
- Forklift / front-end loader operational experience
- Computer skills working with Microsoft Outlook / Excel / Word / Access
