Job Summary
Operate and maintain Kimberly-Clark Converting equipment in Mobile, AL as part of a high-performing team. You’ll troubleshoot, perform basic maintenance and repairs, input and interpret data in multiple computer systems, follow Standard Work Procedures, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met. This role requires hands-on operation of large industrial machines, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adapting to a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (nights, weekends, holidays, overtime). Strong attention to detail, ability to follow written instructions, and alignment with the company’s Ways of Working (Focus on Customers, Move Fast, Grow Our People) are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States
- High school diploma or GED (Grade 12 certificate)
- 4+ years of continuous work experience
- 3+ years of direct relevant industrial/plant operating experience (operator, mechanic, or technical support)
- Basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and good math skills
- Ability to maintain a 12-hour rotating shift schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
- Pass pre-employment assessment and pre-employment drug and background screening
- Pass post-offer/pre-hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT)
- Able to operate industrial vehicles, including forklifts
- Able to lift 50 lbs and perform bending, twisting, stooping, crouching
- Willing to wear PPE (respiratory protection, ear/eye/toe protection)
- Must be local candidates authorized to work in the country
