Job Summary
Execute processes and operate designated area equipment to maintain continuous process flow, including collecting and processing samples. Monitor tank levels, temperatures, and pressures on computers and field instruments, documenting readings and making adjustments. Troubleshoot and operate instrumentation efficiently while performing routine maintenance and operating mobile equipment like forklifts and railcar movers. Unload raw materials and load finished products to control inventory for internal and external customers. Adhere to all safety, food safety, sanitation, and environmental policies while interfacing with customers and carriers.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts
- Basic use of computer
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, etc.
- High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
- Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Experience working in a production lab, analyzing samples, and collecting data
- Prior experience in production-related work
- Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
