Job Summary
Operations Technician for 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) responsible for assembly, testing, and reprocessing of medical instruments and devices. Performs calibration of parts to meet tolerances and product specifications under established guidelines and instruction. Assists in identifying improvements to assembly/work instructions and testing. Executes a variety of technical and non-technical tasks, including picking and packing re-processed instruments, and upholding company quality policies. Requires 1-3 years in manufacturing, ability to read SOPs, lift up to 30 lbs, and exposure to a manufacturing environment with potential blood-borne pathogen exposure; works under supervision with some independent judgment. Demonstrates willingness to provide technical guidance when requested; may perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read & interpret standard operating procedures
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a typical manufacturing / Operations environment
