Job Summary
Operations Technician on 1st shift (6am–2:30pm) responsible for assembly, testing, and reprocessing of medical instruments and devices, plus facility support. Works under supervision and follows pre-established guidelines; reads and interprets standard operating procedures; performs a variety of technical and non-technical tasks; maintains quality policies and assists in identifying improvements to assembly/work instructions and testing; capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for long periods; participates in inventory handling, packing/reprocessing, and ensuring acceptable work output within a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a typical manufacturing/Operations environment
- Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop and stand for long periods
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to blood borne pathogens
- Ability to work under immediate supervision and perform tasks with some independent judgment
- Demonstrates willingness and ability to provide technical guidance upon request
