Job Summary
Operations Team Lead responsible for shift-level coordination of DC distribution center activities across outlet, warehouse, and dock functions. Provides on-the-floor guidance, training, and task coordination; enforces safety, SOPs, and productivity; conducts safety checks, equipment inspections, and opening/closing procedures; supports customer escalations and logistics coordination; no direct supervisory duties but leads by example through coaching and real-time feedback; requires forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days), strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, emails), familiarity with ERP systems (D365), and bilingual English/Spanish a plus. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, 2 years of relevant experience, and a valid Texas driver license; background check required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Forklift certification or ability to be certified within 30 days in role
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in retail, warehousing, logistics, or recycling operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including writing and reading emails, Excel, and familiarity with D365 or similar ERP systems
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Valid Texas Driver License
- Experience working with or advocating for marginalized communities is highly valued
