Job Summary
Operations Team Lead within a Distribution Center: oversee daily operations across multiple teams, provide direction and training, monitor system performance, lead problem resolution, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet shipping, receiving, and inventory targets. Promote safety and regulatory compliance (GDP, GMP, HazMat), maintain a clean and safe work environment, work with minimal supervision, and undertake other duties to support distribution center operations. Requires leadership, multitasking, and strong communication skills; proficiency with MS Office and logistics software; forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Full-time role with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in a high-volume distribution or logistics environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of logistics management software preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
