Job Summary

Oversee daily warehouse operations in the assigned area (Inbound/Outbound or other functional departments) as a hands-on team lead. Coach, motivate, and develop hourly employees; plan, prioritize, and assign daily work; ensure shift readiness and effective handoffs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Volvo Production System (VPS); maintain SOPs, conduct routine audits, and ensure compliance with union contracts and company policies. Monitor KPIs, maintain team boards, and deliver timely performance updates to leadership. Act as an ambassador for Volvo Group culture, emphasizing safety, quality, and customer focus, while supporting cross-functional collaboration and development of future team leaders. Location: Jacksonville Regional Distribution Center, Jacksonville, FL.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2–5 years of leadership or relevant experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution operations
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
