Job Summary
Entry-level Operations Support Specialist I focused on internal customer service and broad administrative support for Pike Engineering operations. Responsibilities include accurate data entry into databases for time/expense entry, invoicing, AP, and expense reconciliations; general clerical tasks such as mailing, scanning, copying, and serving as receptionist; running and verifying reports; organizing employee engagement activities; preparing and editing documents and correspondence; meeting deadlines; scheduling and maintaining meetings and calendars; coordinating events and vendors for sponsor activities; maintaining administrative reports and fleet/occupancy/PPE records; ordering supplies; assisting with onboarding and fleet maintenance coordination; and performing other duties as assigned in a semi-routine environment. Requires high school degree or GED, 0-1 year in similar admin roles, strong written/verbal communication, basic math and data-management skills, and the ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- 0-1 year experience in similar administrative duties
- Familiarity with utility or engineering office operations preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents; ability to write simple correspondence
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of standard office equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow through on assignments
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage calendars and scheduling
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Team-oriented with professional appearance
- Ability to interact with diverse individuals
