Job Summary
Operations Support Specialist 1 overseeing end-to-end deliverables for construction activities and operations, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely delivery in a radiological facility while complying with DOE and laboratory policies. Responsible for organizing operations in construction and field controls, ensuring staffing and execution across projects, providing timely support to construction groups, applying construction engineering standards consistently, and developing or improving documentation and processes. Manages budgets, oversees workers and subcontractors, and communicates with stakeholders and customers to achieve project success. Prior DOE construction project experience and work-control alignment with quality control/assurance are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associated Degree in a relevant field or combination of education and relevant experience
- 5 or more years’ experience in construction, maintenance or fabrication field
- Professional and safety certifications relevant to construction in the DOE and nuclear complex are required
- Qualifications as an Electrical Field Work Supervisor, Field Work Supervisor and Responsible (Line) Manager are preferred
- Prior experience supporting the DOE mission is desirable
