Job Summary
Oversee the second shift (15-20 frontline associates) in a cross-dock, pick/pack operation within a fast-paced 3PL environment, driving on-time deliveries to retailers such as Walmart and Target. Lead and coordinate with other shift leaders to ensure smooth freight flow, monitor inbound/outbound shipments, and manage dock flow and labor allocation to maximize productivity. Enforce a strong safety culture, conduct safety observations and investigations, oversee training/onboarding, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Utilize WMS, RF scanners, and operational reporting tools; ensure accurate shipment documentation and inventory control; communicate with customer service, transportation, and leadership teams regarding status and challenges. Requires minimum 3 years of cross-dock/logistics experience, proficiency with Excel/Outlook/Teams, willingness to work overtime, and preference for a Bachelor's degree and Spanish language skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in cross-dock, logistics, transportation operations
- Comfort with technology, MS Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to work overtime shifts
- Experienced with multiple WMS and RF technology
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
