Operations Supervisor - Weekend Day Shift

Job Summary
Direct the work of associates in the warehouse/distribution environment by determining work volume, preparing schedules, and expediting workflow for maximum cost effectiveness. Assign duties, examine work for quality and conformity to policies, and schedule job assignments for periodic inventories. Monitor and direct accurate outbound shipping, issue instructions, and ensure associate accountability per standard operating procedures. Mentor associates through coaching, corrective actions, and performance evaluations while resolving grievances and maintaining team harmony. Manage employee time edits, train staff on policies and Standard Works, and assist with safety program aspects and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college; or equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or related
- Minimum of six months supervisory experience
- PC and computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Travel approximately 25% or less
