Job Summary
Conduct daily operations meetings, coordinate follow-up tasks, and ensure department goals are met. Coach team members on current SOPs, evaluate performance through biweekly meetings, and delegate assignments to maximize productivity. Promote the safe release of Part 91 and 135 flights while covering Scheduling/Dispatch roles during PTO. Assist in conducting interviews and training new employees to maintain a culture of total client service. Interface with other departments to ensure SOP compliance and anticipate future issues expeditiously. Based in Oxford, CT, this full-time role supports Tradewind Aviation's Part 135 commuter and on-demand operations across North America and the Caribbean.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of high school graduation
- College degree preferred or relevant aviation operations experience of at least three years, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of computer software applications in word processing and spreadsheets including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong multi-tasking capability
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Demonstrate consistent high level of interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs. at times
Desired Qualifications
- College degree
- Relevant aviation operations experience of at least three years
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- FAA Dispatch license
