Job Summary
Oversee production operations at the Lovejoy plant, including safety compliance, scheduling, quality control, and business plan achievement. Direct operative employees for performance against metrics, coordinate training and development, and manage costs within the established operating budget. Build production schedules, monitor in-process orders, and apply lean management principles to drive continuous improvement and on-time delivery. Ensure all standard operating procedures are maintained while working with management to achieve targets for shipments, gross margin, and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- 7 years of supervisor/management experience
- US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees or others eligible to receive US export license authorizations
- Candidate must be authorized to work in the US
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 7 years of supervisor/management experience
- SAP experience
- Data analysis skills with the ability to collect, organize, interpret, and present insights from complex datasets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data validation, and reporting
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a track record of identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing effective solutions
- Experience leveraging data to support decision-making, process improvements, and business recommendations
