Job Summary
Oversee daily construction aggregate production alongside the Plant Manager, focusing on production, quality control, maintenance, and safety compliance. Lead and coordinate equipment operators, mechanics, and quality-control staff; monitor production rates, adjust processes to meet quality and volume targets, and implement continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce costs. Support preventative maintenance, manage inventory of raw materials, finished products, and spare parts, and maintain production/maintenance/safety records. Ensure MSHA regulations and environmental standards are followed, and serve as Acting Plant Manager in the Plant Manager’s absence. This is an hourly role with strong OT pay opportunities and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma is required.
- Strong foundational knowledge of crushing, screening, and material handling equipment.
- Proven self-motivation, diligence, and a collaborative work ethic.
- Excellent leadership, communication, critical thinking, and problem-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
