Job Summary
Lead and supervise Assembly/Sanitation operations in a fast-paced production environment, guiding a team to deliver safe, high-quality products for flights and customers. Monitor and enforce safety and performance initiatives, ensure on-time production and regulatory compliance (FDA, USDA, OSHA, HACCP, EPA, DOT), schedule staff to meet labor productivity targets, conduct daily workgroup meetings, manage productivity hours and costs, and support company initiatives such as Quality and Lean Manufacturing. Requires strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and a solid understanding of food safety, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years of related work experience
- Experience in food processing, grocery store produce, delicatessen, or similar industries
- Industry experience with food safety, regulatory compliance, and GMP
- Problem solving and leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and lead others to obtain desired results & achieve productivity goals
- Working knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA and EPA regulations
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills; ability to multi-task
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
