Job Summary
Manage shift operations and personnel for a specific location, supervising Technicians-In-Charge, Customer Service Coordinators, and Service Employees. Direct work analysis, planning, and scheduling while assigning tasks to technicians and conducting yard checks to prioritize work. Oversee customer relationship management, issue resolution, and vehicle uptime, ensuring warranty policies and procedures are executed. Lead performance management, training, and development for all assigned personnel while maintaining shop standards, parts inventory, and financial targets. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, EPA requirements, and local, state, and federal documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED
- Associate's degree
- 1-3 years or more experience in a maintenance operations environment
- Demonstrated success in a Ryder role
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years or more experience in a maintenance operations environment
- Demonstrated success in a Ryder role
- Maintenance and Technical experience in a shop environment
- Supervisory experience
- Experience with a Shop Management System
- Microsoft Office intermediate
- Ability to professionally represent Ryder and competently interact with customer management
- Strong vehicle diagnostics/repair knowledge
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
