Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day delivery operations by monitoring morning loadout, tracking delivery activity, and evaluating motor carrier needs to meet client quality and production standards. Supervise a team of Operations Coordinators while ensuring timely reporting of loadout/returns compliance and motor carrier adherence to client standards. Utilize client-specific software for route monitoring and perform check-in processes for reschedules, then process returns through the client portal. Serve as the main point of contact for client escalations, schedule orders, and notify customers of time windows for next-day delivery. Maintain professional relationships with location management, peers, and motor carriers while coaching the team to maximize site performance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Strong people and operations supervisory skills
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products (Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills, including conflict resolution
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to embrace new technology
- Operations or final mile delivery experience preferred
