Job Summary
Support the Branch Manager in achieving sales, customer experience, operations, premises, and productivity goals by overseeing daily staffing, scheduling, training, and performance of bank tellers. Model exemplary customer service while cross-selling products and maintaining a positive community reputation. Inspire team engagement to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and controls. Demonstrate risk-based decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills to support staff development through coaching and feedback. Alternate between tasks and projects to promote operational versatility and cross-train staff. This role requires 3-5 years of financial services experience, including branch operations and 12 months in new accounts and loan origination. Applicants must pass a credit history check and possess proficiency in banking core systems like SilverLake.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a credit history check
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of financial services experience
- knowledge of banking institution concepts, federal/state regulations, and policy and procedures
- Must have a minimum of 12-month experience in new accounts, including business accounts, and loan origination
- Must demonstrate ability to use various banking core system & related PC applications including, but not limited to the following: Windows, Outlook and SilverLake
Desired Qualifications
- AA degree or higher, including college-level courses in finance or accounting
