Job Summary
Coordinate and manage multiple warehouse functions including receiving, warehousing, and shipping. Supervise Leads, warehouse teammates, and other supervisors; hire and train warehouse staff to operate safely and efficiently. Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and Lead Driver to prepare truck delivery schedules; assign duties for receiving, storing, and assembling customer orders. Establish and implement work schedules; enforce safety and regulatory compliance, review bills of lading, and coordinate cross-functional activities with Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service. Conduct performance reviews and support personnel actions. Emphasize adherence to federal statutes, OSHA/DEA regulations, and continuous improvement in warehouse operations. Require proficiency with Windows-based programs and generating essential reports.
Required Qualifications
- Equal to a high school diploma
- Successful completion of all company warehouse training modules resulting in certification
- Certified on all warehouse machinery
- At least three years of O&M experience required
- For external hires at least one year supervisory experience required
- At least two years warehouse experience preferred
