Operations Supervisor, Outbound

Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day outbound warehouse operations, including monitoring of delivery activity, motor carrier needs, and client service in accordance with client quality and production standards. Lead and participate in active route monitoring, assist with carrier communications and settlements, and help recruit/onboard motor carriers. Ensure timely delivery timeframes are communicated to clients, manage returns and compliance processes, provide escalation support, and schedule orders with next-day delivery windows. Maintain professional relationships with location management, motor carriers, client employees, and other department managers, while ensuring adherence to client requirements and standards. Demonstrate strong leadership, communications, problem solving, and customer service skills to optimize outbound operations and deliver quality service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required
- Strong people and operations supervisory skills
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products (Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills, including conflict resolution
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to embrace new technology
- Operations or final mile delivery experience preferred
