Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations for multiple client sites across Oshawa, Whitby, Peterborough, and surrounding rural communities by coaching frontline teams, conducting quality inspections, and resolving operational issues. Manage staffing levels, schedules, labour hours, and budgets while using systems like Dayforce and OrangeQC to handle payroll, reporting, and daily tasks. Build strong client relationships, respond to service requests, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and collective agreement protocols. Report facility maintenance concerns, manage supply inventory, and support onboarding for new team members. This field-based leadership role requires flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts with 90% travel.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams in a multi-site operational environment
- 2+ years of experience in commercial cleaning, facilities services, hospitality, or a similar service-focused industry
- A passion for coaching others and creating an engaged, accountable, and high-performing team culture
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills with the ability to resolve issues professionally and proactively
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Confidence using technology such as Dayforce, OrangeQC, and Microsoft Office to manage operations efficiently
- The ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- A valid driver's licence, clean driving abstract, and the flexibility to travel throughout your assigned territory
- Eligibility to Work in Canada at the time an offer of employment is made
- Consent to a background check and security clearance
- Good standing credit (for positions with access to financial data or funds)
