Job Summary
Lead manufacturing operations by communicating job expectations, planning and monitoring results, and coaching employees to ensure production attainment. Direct staff through recruiting, training, and performance management while enforcing systems and policies. Maintain workflow by observing control points, implementing cost reductions, and resolving process malfunctions. Schedule personnel, establish priorities, and report shift production summaries to exceed daily standard rates. Ensure a safe, clean environment by directing equipment use and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Lead continuous improvement projects and manage administrative tasks including payroll, discipline, and budget monitoring. Work extended hours, weekends, or shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills
