Job Summary
Night-shift Operations Supervisor responsible for leading a production team on a 6PM–6AM 2/2/3 schedule (training on days for three months, Mon-Fri). Duties include planning and organizing schedules and production sequences; enforcing SOPs; leading daily handoffs; approving safe work permits for maintenance; monitoring equipment and processes; maintaining production knowledge for troubleshooting; overseeing material movement and inventory; reviewing performance metrics; investigating safety incidents; coaching and disciplining operators; onboarding and training; supporting root-cause analysis and customer-compliance tasks (e.g., PLI); and exemplifying company values. Requires High School diploma or GED and 2+ years of supervisory experience; strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, problem-solving, and computer skills; and a valid Iowa driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in related industry or field
- Must have valid Iowa driver’s license
- Ability to follow directions, interpret written instructions, basic math, and operate a computer
