Job Summary
Direct warehouse and distribution operations by determining work volume, preparing schedules, and expediting workflows to ensure cost effectiveness. Assign duties, monitor outbound shipping accuracy, and issue instructions while maintaining harmony among associates and resolving grievances. Mentor staff through performance evaluations, corrective actions, and training on policies and standard works. Manage employee time, oversee zoning and product database development during receiving, and assist the Safety Advocate with program aspects and committee participation. Drive process improvements and ensure conformity to corporate standards. Travel approximately 25% or less.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college; or equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or related
- Minimum of six months supervisory experience
- PC and computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Travel approximately 25% or less
