Job Summary
Lead night shift production operations at the Rome, GA plant, supervising a team of hourly operators to meet production goals while upholding safety and quality standards. Drive continuous improvement using LEAN principles, 5S, and RCA to optimize processes and reduce losses. Provide team development and servant leadership, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and adapt to a dynamic environment with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends. Maintain a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards; manage priorities and performance across the shift. This on-site role requires strong leadership, manufacturing acumen, and proficiency with Microsoft Office to support production planning, scheduling, and problem-solving initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated experience managing safety and/or quality programs in a manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience in manufacturing
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Strong manufacturing aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while fostering accountability and execution
