Job Summary
Direct supervision of operators and maintenance technicians in the DUF6 conversion facility. Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating day-to-day plant activities, reporting off-normal or emergency conditions to the Facility Manager, and ensuring safe, compliant operations. Helps develop operating procedures and training materials to support readiness, testing, startup, and operation of the DUF6 facility. Oversees coordination between maintenance, operations, health physics, and other functions during outages or off-normal conditions. Conducts plant tours to verify policy adherence, documents plant proceedings as objective evidence of performance, and takes control during emergencies to restore normal or safe conditions. Oversees shift schedules and personnel assignments, and may perform duties as Facility Manager as designated. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years related experience, 3+ years nuclear experience, and ability to obtain HSPD-12 credential.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) credential
