Job Summary
Operations Supervisor – Hauling Operations oversees the supervision of drivers and helpers across multiple hauling lines (commercial, residential, roll-off/industrial, container delivery/pick up) within a geographically dispersed area. Responsibilities include safety leadership and accident prevention, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, operating and ethics standards; delivering safety, customer experience, and efficiency improvements; coordinating with Sales, Maintenance, and Operations Management to implement tactical initiatives; driving route optimization, productivity, and budget adherence; engaging employees and fostering a collaborative, high-performance team focused on safety and service quality. The role requires directing a large staff, problem-solving, and coaching to achieve divisional goals, with a strong emphasis on creating a safe, efficient, and customer-focused operation.
