Job Summary
Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day Gas Services operations from the Kwinana facility, overseeing drivers, equipment and customer commitments, and driving safety and efficiency improvements. Responsibilities include promoting a strong safety culture, managing driver compliance and fatigue requirements, coordinating fleet maintenance, conducting toolbox meetings and investigations, coaching team members, and ensuring service delivery targets are achieved while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Key skills include leadership, HVNL/Chain of Responsibility knowledge, Dangerous Goods awareness, strong communication and relationship-building, planning and problem-solving, and the ability to stay calm in a dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience within transport, logistics or a related operational environment
- Strong knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management requirements
- Experience working within Dangerous Goods operations (highly regarded)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a dynamic environment
- A commitment to safety, compliance and operational excellence
- Current WA Driver's Licence (MC Licence highly regarded)
- Dangerous Goods Licence (desirable)
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical examination, including drug and alcohol screening
