Operations Supervisor Full-Time - TForce Freight

Job Summary
Coordinate day-to-day operations of TForce Freight Service Centers by analyzing productivity, service, and quality data to develop action plans that improve service level results. Oversee staff within the department by collaborating with managers on hiring, promotion decisions, and adherence to labor agreements while addressing grievances. Conduct new hire orientation meetings, safety and quality training, and performance evaluations to determine employee training needs and resolve individual or group performance issues. Build labor relations by interacting with unionized employees and addressing their requests. Requires U.S. work authorization, high school diploma or preferred bachelor's degree, and supervisory experience in the transportation industry. Full-time role with on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- Strong communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred
- Previous dock operations experience - Preferred
- Supervisory experience in the transportation industry - Preferred
