Job Summary
Operations Supervisor oversees shop operations for a Denver, CO location, assisting the Operations Manager(s) and managing the shift’s personnel including technicians-in-charge, customer service coordinators, technicians, and service employees. Responsible for achieving business objectives and labor targets while balancing customer needs with financial, quality, safety, and asset targets. Manages location performance against metrics, trains and back-ups colleagues, adheres to Ryder policies, and supports development toward Operations Manager roles. Key duties include work analysis, scheduling, productivity tracking, RO approvals, triage of unscheduled vehicle drives, yard checks, and ensuring warranty, safety, and EPA compliance, with a focus on quality inspections, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Requires experience in maintenance operations, shop environments, supervisory responsibilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with a Shop Management System and DOT regulations is preferred. Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED required
- Associate's degree preferred or 1-3 years or more experience in a maintenance operations environment required
- Bachelor's degree preferred or 1-3 years or more experience in a maintenance operations environment required
- Maintenance and Technical experience in a shop environment required
- Supervisory experience preferred
