Job Summary
Coordinate service deliveries by supervising drivers and managing route performance to identify optimization opportunities. Resolve occupational health and safety and environmental issues while ensuring full compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements. Champion a safety-first culture by proactively responding to immediate operational concerns with a solutions focus. Communicate accurate information to stakeholders and lead continuous improvement efforts within the professional driving team. This role offers flexibility to be based in Karratha, Newman, Port Hedland, or as a FIFO position, with initial training in Karratha. Candidates must possess strong people skills, analytic abilities, and a background in logistics, with a mandatory pre-employment medical check including drug and alcohol screening.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations
- Sound analytic skills and ability to read reports
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong people skills, including a strong ability to communicate and negotiate
- Ability to work autonomously
- Good computer skills
- A strong safety focus
- Must be prepared to undertake a full pre-employment medical check which includes drug and alcohol screening
- Must be willing to undergo a National Police Clearance
