Job Summary
Plan, schedule, and coordinate freight routing to ensure efficient, error-free customer movement. Compile production records, inspect personnel performance, and review logs to adjust work practices and support scheduling needs. Set up appointment deliveries, assist with billing, manifesting, and freight analysis, while maintaining communication with internal and external customers. Recruit, interview, and train Service Center personnel alongside the manager, ensuring premises safety and initiating corrective actions for accidents or discrepancies. Apply DOT, EPA, ICC, and OSHA regulations effectively. Handle special assignments as directed, with a starting annual salary of $70,000.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of the LTL/ Transportation Industry
- Has managed Drivers and Dockworkers
- Knowledge of the surrounding geographical area to the Service Center
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Fluent in English
