Operations Supervisor

Compile production and service records, inspect personnel performance, and review logs to ascertain scheduling and administrative support requirements. Set up appointment freight deliveries, perform or assist with billing, rating, manifesting, and freight weight/size analysis. Maintain communication with customers, assist in training and evaluating production and clerical personnel, and recruit, interview, and develop Service Center staff. Ensure premises are protected, investigate accidents and injuries, and apply DOT, EPA, ICC, and OSHA safety practices. Facilitate information meetings and handle special assignments. Requires knowledge of the LTL/Transportation industry, management experience, and familiarity with the local area. Shift runs 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
