Job Summary
Lead floor management by assigning shifts, reviewing results, and providing feedback to maintain a five-star guest experience. Coach team members on selling skills, monitor payroll and timesheets to ensure budget adherence, and drive Total Monthly Income goals through daily sales targets and performance discussions. Manage inventory, special orders, and layaway processes while building a talent pipeline to fill open positions within 30 days. Observe individual performance using customer reviews and mystery shops to enforce improvement plans. This role supports the management team in creating a high-performance culture for Dream Makers and guests.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or degree
- Two-four years prior retail management experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with a computerized POS system
- Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to reach for tools and objects with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be able to talk to and hear guests
- Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to see up close and at a distance
- Must be able to use peripheral vision and depth perception
- Must be able to look at, read, and use a computer and all other electronic devices for long periods of time
