Job Summary
Execute daily transportation operations with accountability for on-time performance, service reliability, and customer satisfaction. Manage real-time scheduling adjustments to address changes driven by traffic, weather, equipment availability, or driver constraints. Supervise and coordinate a diverse driver workforce, ensuring schedules are fair, efficient, and compliant with all regulations. Administer scheduling practices to maximize utilization of drivers and fleet resources across a diverse trip portfolio. Partner closely with Maintenance, Cleaning, and other operational teams to ensure vehicles are safe, clean, fueled, and ready for service. Maintain proactive communication with customers and internal stakeholders regarding service changes, delays, or issues. Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations and company policies. Oversee collection and processing of driver paperwork supporting payroll, billing, and trip reconciliation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or service operations in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage real-time operational challenges
- Ability to triage and prioritize operational issues to minimize disruption of service
- Proven ability to coordinate teams and resources effectively under pressure
- Working knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in transportation operations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders
- High level of accountability, attention to detail, and operational discipline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
