Job Summary
Lead and oversee day-to-day operations at the consumer site depot, manage asset resources and facilities to maximise cost-efficiency, coach staff, maintain vehicle/trailer maintenance programs, perform depot checks, monitor driver performance and improvement actions, support payroll planning, ensure personnel records and licenses are up to date, coordinate recruitment/training, assist in accident investigations, conduct daily yard and office risk assessments, and provide data for KPI reporting while applying knowledge of EU hours and tachograph rules and demonstrating an energetic leadership style.
Required Qualifications
- 1 years’ experience in transport operations
- CPC National Qualification preferred
- EU Hours, Working Time Directives and Tachograph legislation knowledge
- PC literate, Excel
- ability to work on own initiative
- strong communication and leadership skills
- able to supervise and coach staff
- experience in depot payroll planning and personnel records management
