Job Summary
Lead a crew during event-driven projects by conducting basic cleaning steps for fire, water, and mold jobs, including wiping, packing, inventory control, debris removal, and loading/unloading vehicles. Maintain or exceed productivity while meeting deadlines set by Project Management and assist in training agency general labor. Work side-by-side with staff to ensure quality products, adhere to all safety policies and PPE requirements, and report accidents or unsafe conditions immediately. Report to work on time and be willing to travel for extended periods, working flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Minimum one year of experience in demolition, restoration, construction, or general labor is required, with a background in commercial cleaning a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to travel for an extended length of time
- Ability to pass a background check
- Documentation necessary to complete an I-9
- Background in Demolition, Restoration, and/or Construction
- Team Lead or Crew Lead experience
- Commercial cleaning experience
- Restoration, Construction and/or General Labor experience
- Minimum 1 year working experience
- Ability to work flexible hours to include weekends, evenings and holidays
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (4+ hours at a time)
- Ability to bend, squat, reach over shoulder and head consistently
- Ability to consistently make repetitive motion (such as cleaning rotation motion)
- Ability to work in hot environment
- Ability to work in a smoky smelling environment
- Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment specific for job site such as full-face respirators, eye goggles etc.
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Previous disaster relief experience
