Supervises and coordinates activities of workers involved in ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts within the stockroom, warehouse, or yard. Maintains adequate records of inventory adjustments including cycles, physicals, and catch weight audits while assisting with inventory control to ensure accuracy. Reviews inbound appointment logs and open order reports daily to plan inbound and outbound schedules that meet customer metrics. Directly supervises 20+ employees by interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, and resolving grievances. Ensures proper safety procedures are followed while tracking productivity and qualifying performance by individual, function, and department. Manages department payroll and advises employees on equipment handling and stock methods.
