Job Summary
Conduct operational analysis of receiving, order-filling, and shipping functions to ensure efficiency and effective coordination. Collect, review, and analyze key performance indicators, budget reports, and operational expenditures daily, weekly, and monthly. Manage labour forecasting, planning, and workload scheduling while leading the shift occupational health and safety program, including training and guidance of subordinates. Provide ongoing coaching to coordinators and floor associates to ensure performance objectives are attained and ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements, including the Ontario Health and Safety Act and food safety policies. Report to the Operations Manager for the Afternoon Shift from 3PM to 11PM, Monday to Friday. Available to work extra hours as required to address operational peaks. Requires advanced experience in warehousing logistics, performance management, and quality assurance, with strong Warehouse Management Systems technical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced level of experience in warehousing logistics, performance management and support services or quality assurance
- Strong Warehouse Management Systems and related systems technical skills
- Issue management skills including problem solving and trouble-shooting
- Information gathering including research, interpretation and analysis
- Managerial skills including selection, coaching and counselling associates

- Be familiar and ensure compliance with the Ontario Health and Safety Act with attention to Sections 25, 26, 27 and 28
- Supervise and oversee daily food safety activities, including shipping/receiving, storage
- Ensure compliance with food safety policies and procedures by all staff
- Train and coach employees on proper food handling techniques
- Take immediate action to address any food safety concerns or violations
- Removing contaminated finished goods from warehouse
- Must ensure operational functions are effectively coordinated to ensure optimal efficiency
