Job Summary
Operations Supervisor responsible for overseeing daily inbound/outbound warehouse/distribution center activities, supervising union workforce, managing inventory and quality control, and ensuring safety compliance. Rotates between 1st and 2nd shifts as needed, leads and develops a team, maintains performance metrics, timekeeping, and departmental records, and drives continuous improvement using lean principles. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, willingness to work overtime, strong data analysis and organizational skills, and professional communication. Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing/warehouse/logistics setting and experience with union teams is advantageous. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift
- Willingness to work overtime (including weekends)
- Ability to develop, maintain, and analyze data
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
- 3-5 years' experience supervising employees in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment
- Experience supervising in a union environment (preferred)
