Job Summary

Oversee day-to-day on-the-road operations, ensuring services run on schedule and meet quality standards. Monitor route performance, coordinate with maintenance teams for vehicle readiness, and manage customer feedback. Direct traffic, maintain crowd control, assist patrons, and deploy gates and signs as needed. React to acute situations including absenteeism, accidents, injuries, mechanical breakdowns, and police requests. Plan and supervise bus operators' work to ensure safety and compliance. Collaborate with local stakeholders to meet community needs. Work on Saturdays of home Penn State Football games.

Required Qualifications

  • Class B CDL with passenger endorsement
  • Possession of, or the ability to obtain, Class B CDL with passenger endorsement
  • Strong leadership skills

  • Must be available for Saturdays of home Penn State Football games

  • Must be able to provide directions and assist patrons with route questions
  • Must be able to plan and supervise bus operators' work and performance
