Job Summary
Conduct monthly performance observations, investigate accidents and incidents, and manage dispatcher duties to ensure safe, timely passenger transport. Assign qualified drivers to revenue routes, handle hiring, firing, and discipline, and oversee Quality Control employees for vehicle maintenance. Complete monthly NDT reports, maintain PO logs, and perform daily data entry for fuel and verification logs. Produce holiday schedules, update employee rosters, and respond to customer complaints and code 61 reports. Dispatch as needed and run AVL reports to monitor operations. Full-time role with salary ranging from $26.52 to $33.16 per hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Able to manage and supervise employees and staff accordingly
- Hold and maintain a valid NYS CDL Class C with passenger endorsement
- Hold an Unrestricted license in effect for 3 years
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must qualify for Article 19-A and 21 NYCRR Part 6 of the NYS Department of Motor vehicle
- No more than 4 points accumulated within 3 years
- No conviction for driving and vehicle while impaired or intoxicated within 5 years
- No suspension or revocation of license during the 3 years
- Three or more moving violations within 3 years
- Three or more at fault accidents within 3 years
- Satisfactory results from a drug and alcohol test administered in accordance with FTA regulations
